Relate Series: David [Poem]
If you ever
start to question
this "God"
& His love for you...
if your thoughts
disqualify
his loving
cover over you
There here is
but a poem,
I could sing it,
but I wrote it,
started flowing
knowing
pain is used
to rediscover you
so,
lemme get this out the way
want you to know
His love is true..
He cares about your heart
and thoughts that
make you miserable
& tho you stray away,
He's very far from
irritable,
can't see Him
in the physical,
but He's still near,
its biblical
but if you need
a literal example,
here, lets make it
a statement character,
competitor,
that we call David
it's crazy
how his call
at a young age,
he'd embrace it,
shoes, he'd lace em
face
defiant
giants,
Goliath; son of Satan
But if you knew
what David'd do
you'd call him
Satan too,
God made us
to give life
but did He ordain
to take
one too?
Goliath's
disrespect
had got him slayed, like baby food
but that's the only one
God told him to,
ain't tell him
to take two
It's true
a king he was
over the nation, Israel,
If he sought,
what he'd wanted
anything else'd be trivial
& that'd include a man
that he lined up, not lineal
all for
a woman,
milked a man's life
for his wife,
no cereal
it figures tho,
God's calling
on his life
got to his head,
no inner voice,
his choice
to feed
on greed
left a man
dead
instead
of playing get back
on his life, God spared his head
but blood was shed
so for his punishment
God took
his son
instead
I'm sure
he dreaded it
& pled God
for a settlement..
we too
have made
mistakes,
& gave it
thought,
regretting it
But even in the midst
of his outcome,
he credited
success to God,
he gave us Psalms
God's love,
so He accepted it
but as for any human,
I'm sure
He's rejecting it,
especially if
we sin
and it
becomes repetitive,
but better than his "wife",
his life, God
could've ended it
instead,
extended grace,
gave him another son,
what benefit!
a king
his son'd
become,
no arch-rival or nemesis,
the wisest man
to ever live,
dating back
from Genesis,
that goes
to show God's love,
even when we're
insensitive,
so don't be
hesitant
to show
some love, and grace,
it's medicine.
