Relate Series: Samson [Poem]

let’s take a glance

at a man

named Samson,

Indeed

a man who

with his hands

caused fandoms

to flee

God-ordained w/

muscle gain,

type handsome,

but see

He’d

fall

to his feet

Due lust

And his greed

It seems

That the man

had a nation to lead

since a kid

he was gr8

& his fate

guaranteed

But he’d

make mistakes

Lacked patience

to see

that a girl’d

turn his world

side-down,

unfortunately

& so

on the story goes

and it reads,

that man

named Sam

son had fell to his knees,

his eyes,

he’d cry out to the Lord

& he’d plead

God to please

just release

him his strength

to end his

enemies

all that

said to me

is God’s love stays the same

and though we drift away sometimes,

He calls us by name

his arrogance

& negligence would

all end in shame

& to top it off

it’s an opp chick

that cost him

the game
