Teamwork [Poem]

Teamwork,

I heard it make the dream work..

& if you didn’t know,

go do your research..

to walk this life alone

‘ll make your feet hurt,

'cus even congregations

come together with the preacher

life is like a movie,

but not Dreamworks

+ it ain’t always tasty

like some dessert..

a lack of confidence ‘ll make you revert

but when we come together?

off the hook

sum'n like a feature

to learn,

you don’t really need a teacher

just effort by two or more similar creatures

& cheering on each other from the bleachers

unlace em after racing,

rub your feet down

when your feet hurt

'cus all this fight & fussing make my ears hurt

[I'd] rather go & catch a misdemeanor

I lied,

gotta put that pride

in reverse

cus lions are the only ones w/

[both] pride AND a leader.
