It’s been one year already,

& I hate [that] that’s what it had to be

but still won’t dare to question The One above mortality

you taught me that hard work turns into habit naturally

& never wait for handouts,

or for someone to pass to me [😂]

& though you’ll never witness the impact you had on me,

I’m still improving daily

not all at once, but gradually

we all got 24,

now what you do? that choice is yours,

don’t let drama stop the cake,

or get 8 up,
